Mountain recreation economy of Washington : ウィキペディア英語版 | Mountain recreation economy of Washington
The history of Washington is intertwined with its natural resources. A major component of the uniqueness of the Evergreen State is the presence of nearly 25 peaks, including the Olympic and Cascade Ranges. The mountain recreation economy of Washington is also supplemented by the state's three national parks: Olympic, North Cascades, and Mount Rainier. Conflict arises over land-use, as the abundance of resources force a precarious balance between forestry and recreation. Much of the support for preservation of Washington's mountains include arguments for the tourist and recreational economy that hinges on their natural state.
